My name is Natalie Ciavarella and I am a second year university student studying Biochemistry and Chemistry. Although you may already be thinking I’m a mad scientist, I promise I’m not!

From what you have seen already, this blog is about genetically modified organisms, aka GMOs, and how they can be used to improve health.

This is a really exciting aspect of biotechnology and I hope that by visiting my blog you learn a little bit about GMOs and realise that they’re not as scary as they seem!
